TOWCESTER & POTTERSPURY - Theft of a vehicle

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after two cars were stolen in Tanters Road, Towcester.

The theft occurred between 2am and 2.30am on Friday 1st November 2025, two Porsche Macans were stolen from the driveways of two seperate addresses, both vehicles have since been recovered.

Did you witness anything? Did you see anyone or any vehicle(s) in the area that looked suspicious? If so, then please contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting ref: 25000637882 and 25000637960. Alternatively you can report online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Physically check your central locking system has activated to ensure the signal hasn’t been blocked and the car left unlocked

Store keys for keyless entry cars in a RFID pouch or foil lined tin to block signal from scanners that will remotely unlock your car e.g Defender Signal Blocker
