Male arrested

🚔🚔 Neighbourhood Policing Team 2 - Inspector Pickavance 🚔🚔 North

This morning Neighbourhood Team 2 were on hi visible patrol around the Harpurhey Shopping Centre working in partnership with local shops and on-site security.  

When on foot patrol PCSO Angela spotted a male, she believed to be wanted. She was able to keep eyes on the male until officers were able to detain the male.  The male was arrested for Public Order offences and recall prison.

Again, eagled eyed PCSO Angela spotted another male she believed was wanted in connection to a shoplifting. PCSO Angela then saw the male shoplifting from the store and the male gave chase. PCSO Angela gave clear observations to officers whilst chasing the male on foot. Officers were able to locate and arrest the male based on the clear description. The male was arrested for shoplifting offences and failure to appear. The stolen items were brought back to the store.
