Dear residents,

The South Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT's) are out tonight conducting foot patrols to make sure that everyone is safe this spooky season. It is great see all the trick or treaters and houses decorated.

Here are some top tips to having a frightfully good time:

Always keep to well lit areas with streetlights if possible. Be visible and wear bright clothing. Take a torch just in case

Don’t knock on doors where you see a ‘No trick or treat callers’ sign

Unless pre-arranged, do not visit elderly or vulnerable members of the community

Keep your tricks within the law. Anything that results in damage is an offence
