Good morning, Here is a summary of some of the work the Willenhall team have been doing over the last week A male was arrested for shoplifting and was charged with 21 shop theft offences across Walsall, Bloxwich and Willenhall. PCSO Lally attended Beacon Primary School to conduct a workshop around choices, consequences, knife crime and peer pressure with Precious Lives. We recovered a vehicle that had no tax, no insurance and was causing an obstruction to the highway. Officers have been engaging with youth provision supporting young people aged 16 to 18 on living accommodation. ASB Willenhall Town! Willenhall officers have continued to patrol Willenhall Town Centre WITH Community Enforcement officers from Walsall Council, due to ongoing ASB. Two youths have been identified and will be getting a warning letters from Community Protection team at Walsall Council. POLICE SURGERIES: Come along and speak to your local officer about any concerns you have or ask for advice you may need. We can also update you on some of the issues we are tackling in the area. The next Police surgeries will be held on: Sunday 2nd November 2025 at Queen’s Lea community room, Queen Lea, Short Heath between 11am – 12pm alongside local councillors. Tuesday 4th November 2025 at The Hive, The Square, New Invention between 10am – 11am alongside Walsall Housing Group. PACT (Partners and Community Together Meeting) If you live, work or have a business in the Willenhall North, Willenhall South or Short Heath wards come along and meet the team This is an opportunity to discuss policing matters including crime and community safety concerns which may be affecting you in your community. You will have a say on how policing issues in your area can best be tackled and will be part of the process to set policing priorities for your neighbourhood The next PACT meeting for your area will be held on: Friday 7th November 2025 between 6pm – 8pm at Willenhall Library, 1 Walsall Street, Willenhall.
