Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to report Burglary Other At 12.36am on Thursday 11 September in Clare Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a garage was broken into and the door damaged by two males who arrived on a motorbike, possibly a Yamaha. Nothing was taken. At 9.20pm on Saturday 13 September in Stuart Street, Sutton in Ashfield, two youths were seen on CCTV trying to enter a shed and also the neighbours shed before trying a car door handle. Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft from motor vehicle At 11.24pm on Sunday 14 September in Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield, two males and a female, all white and over 35 years of age, entered a car parked unlocked outside a shop and stole a bag containing t-shirts and crocs. They headed off towards ASDA. The female had her hair in a bobble, one male was on a bike the second on foot. Theft Nothing to report Criminal Damage At 11.30am on Monday 15 September at the Idlewells Centre, Sutton in Ashfield, a white male around 18 years old, wearing a black tracksuit, white socks and sliders, rode into the centre on an e-bike and crashed into and damaged a sweet machine. ASB At 1.44pm on Sunday 14 September at Langton Court, Mill Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of six males hanging around at the back of the flats smoking cannabis. One male white, 18 to 22 years old, had a grey ‘Staffy’ type dog. At 8.52pm on Monday 15 September in Leamington Drive, Sutton in Ashfield, a shopper was shouted at and harassed by three homeless people begging outside a shop. This is a problem that continues to get worse. At 4.38am on Tuesday 16 September in Langton Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of a drunk male, white, 25 to 40 years old, slim build, black hair, wearing a dark hoodie, trying to open windows to get into the Ashcroft Care Home. He refused to leave when challenged by staff and became aggressive. At 7.52am on Tuesday 16 September in Maun Close, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of ongoing issues with youths and threats being made to damage cars.
