Male arrested with quantity of drugs and carrying a knife

On 18/09/2025 at 10:30 Town Centre Team officers were on patrol in and around the Barking Town Centre area. A male was seen to be loitering in a stair way area and when officers made to approach the male ran off.

 After a foot chase the male was detained and after searching him the male was found to be in possession of a large quantity of  white and brown powder in wraps. On detaining the male it was clear to the officers that he had disposed of a knife into nearby bushes. 

The male was arrested for Possession with intent to supply class A drugs, Possession of a bladed article and further arrested for a breach of Tag for other offences.
