Driving eyesight rules |
||
Did you know that one of the roadside tests we can do in Devon & Cornwall is an eyesight test? You need to be able to read a vehicle registration plate from 20 to 20.5 metres away. If you can’t, you could have your driving licence revoked. It is a road traffic offence to be unable to read a number plate in good daylight. Please make sure you have regular eye tests and that any glasses or contact lenses have an up-to-date prescription to ensure your eyes are up to the task!
