Hexham/Tynedale Area

Incident Number: NP-20250706-0422

Attempt theft of Motor Vehicle – West Woodburn

Between 0000 on SUN 06/07/25 and 0600 on SUN 06/07/25

Offenders have approached the vehicle (which was awaiting repair), push the vehicle down hill in an attempt to get it started.

Incident Number: NP-20250705-0380

Report at 1050hrs on Sat 5th July of a White Ford Transit (58 Plate) on the A696 near Harle – the vehicle was looking for scrap metal at an unoccupied property.  After being approached the males headed back towards Ponteland. No theft occurred.

North Northumberland

Incident Number: NP-2025-0706-0124

Suspicious Activity – Stannington

Report at 0150hrs on Sun 6th July of activity close to farm machinery - offenders have entered the field and smashed the window of a digger. Vehicle tracked to Northumberlandia car park, where one male was arrested.
