Crime Report Hucknall for the week to midnight Wednesday 29 November 2023


Officers from the Hucknall Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates.

1/12/2023 -- CO-OP EMPEROR WAY – 19:00 – 20:00

11/12/2023 – HUCKNALL LIBRARY – 10:00 – 11:00

11/12/2023 – HUCKNALL HIGH STREET (There will be a police vehicle present) – 10:00 – 11:00

14/12/23 – THE ENGINE ROOMS WATNALL ROAD – 17:00 – 18:00

18/12/2023 – OT FUNDRAISERS COMMUNITY HUB, BOLSOVER STREET – 10:00 – 11:00

At 5.13pm on Thursday 23 November on the Aerodrome, Watnall Road, Hucknall, a perimeter security camera was triggered by two intruders in the enclosure around the Heritage Trust building. No entry was gained into the building.

Between 3.00pm on Thursday 23 and 8.30am on Friday 24 November in High Street, Hucknall, the lock on Hucknall Hair was damaged in what may have been an attempt to gain entry.

Theft of motor vehicle

Between 6.30am on Monday 20 and 8.00am on Friday 24 November in Ladycroft Avenue, Hucknall, a silver Ford Transit van, with two Rhino tubes and a ladder on the roof, was stolen. 

Around 7.15pm on Thursday 23 November in Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a black Suzuki RV125 motor bike was stolen from the Tesco car park. It was seen being pushed away by four young males.

Robbery (Attempt)

Around 8.19pm on Thursday 23 November in Ogle Street, Hucknall, the rider of a motorbike was followed by two other motorbikes, both with passengers who were holding knives at their sides. They shouted “I’m going to nick your bike” he accelerated away and after many twists and turns managed to loose them. They were riding black bikes, possibly Honda, and wearing dark clothing, puffer jackets and balaclavas. 

Criminal Damage

At 6.31pm on Thursday 23 November in Buckingham Avenue, Hucknall, a group of teenage boys and girls smashed the front window of a property.

Overnight Thursday 23/Friday 24 November in Priory Road, Hucknall, reports of break-ins at the Hucknall Cottage Garden Allotments on Priory Road, Hucknall, the locks on the gates to a number of plots were broken and sheds damaged but nothing was stolen.

Between 5.00pm and 10.55pm on Tuesday 28 November in High Street, Hucknall, outside ‘Yummie Tummies’ two tyres on a black Toyota Yaris were slashed. Two tyres on a second car were also slashed.
