Theft of Land Rover Discovery and suspicious activity in Pattingham

On Wed 29th November, a black Land Rover Discovery, partial reg of VA16*** was stolen from outside the church on Patshull Road in Pattingham. It was left parked up approx 5pm and found missing at just after 10pm, when the owner reported it stolen. Smashed glass was left behind where the vehicle was parked. It is believed the vehicle was taken down Clive Road towards Bridgnorth Road.

It is believed a white '59 reg Scirocco may be involved as there was a suspicious incident reported in Clive Road at approximately 2120hrs. Occupants of a white Scirocco were seen trying car door handles around Clive Road and the caller stated they saw a black Land Rover being driven past from the direction of High Street, down towards Bridgnorth Road. They stated it was driven by a male with a face covering on - which is what the suspicious males were wearing when trying car doors around Clive Road.

If anyone has any further information in relation to either of these incidents, please call 101 - or go onto our website and quote incident number 721 (theft of Land Rover) or 694, 29/11/2023.

Many thanks,
