National Knife Crime Awareness Week - OP SCEPTRE

Today (Monday 13 Nov) marks the launch of Operation Sceptre - a national knife crime week of action that will run until

Sunday 19 November 2023.

Operation Sceptre is a national initiative that takes place twice a year with the aim of raising awareness of knife crime, its effect and the police action in detecting, reducing and preventing it.

This week of action is also an opportunity for members of the public to surrender and knives or bladed articles that could be used as a weapon at one of the amnesty bins in our force area.  These are located at Grimsby Victoria Street Police Station and Cromwell Road Police Station more locally to your area.  Please utilise these bins to deposit any unwanted knives safely and anonymously.

Many thanks
