Dear Resident,

Potters Bar & Shenley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) will be holding a free bicycle marking event at Tesco Express, Andrews Close, Shenley on Saturday 11th May 2024 between 3pm & 5pm. Hopefully the good weather holds!

Please come along to this popular event. Local officers will enter your bike details on the national BikeRegister system and security mark it for free! All are welcome, you don't have to be a resident and we can do multiple bikes per person.

Not only acting as a deterrent to possible theft, if your bike is lost or stolen it will greatly increase the chances of getting it back to you promptly if found

The NPT will also bring a small amount of signal blocking pouches (faraday pouches) and other crime prevention measures for distribution whilst stock lasts.  

We will also be offering crime prevention advice and happy to listen to your concerns or thoughts about what you feel police should be focusing on in our area.
