This week we’re supporting Op Sceptre, a national campaign to tackle knife crime.

We know locally knife crime is relatively low compared to other areas, however, we’re not complacent and continue to take action to stop people from carrying a knife in the first place.

Today your local Safer Neighbourhood team have attended shops in the Broseley & Much Wenlock area, to discuss the sales of knives and the legislation in which they should follow. We have also issued them with posters to display around their stores with information about possessing offensive weapons.
