The CSEO’s week

Good morning, everyone! We hope you're well.

Last week, we linked up with officers from the Brookside Safer Neighbourhood Team for a couple of engagement vans. Thank you to all who stopped by and suggested the locations - the Community Centre and Holmer Lake - for different reasons.

We also attended Apley Wood Primary School to officially launch Top Dogs.

The aim is for children to collect all 56 cards – whether they approach an officer to trade or swap cards with their friends.

With over 56,000 cards being released, this fun interaction tool aims to encourage children to engage with officers and build positive relationships.

This week, as Rob takes a well-deserved break, I'll be holding down the fort, gearing up for Operation Sceptre. This nationwide initiative focuses on combating knife crime, addressing its root causes, and guiding individuals away from its dangers. In addition to that, I have a couple of surgeries lined up.

On Saturday 11th, we’ll be at AFC Telford United for a 5-a-side football tournament promoting Operation Sceptre as well as being available for you to talk about what’s concerning you. We’ll be available from 9:00am till approximately 2:00pm before we re-locate to Dobbies Garden Centre in Donnington with our Engagement Van from 2:30pm for a couple of hours after you requested us.

As we welcome May, our calendar for the coming months is beginning to fill up with community engagements. If you have an event where you think police presence would be beneficial, if your club would like us to attend and offer assistance or advice, or if you have a location where one of our engagement vans would be well-received, please feel free to contact me.

I’m contactable on the below email addresses if you need me for anything :-
