STOLEN MOTORCYCLE RECOVERED

An acquisitive crime post sent out by the Ashby Beat team today in relation to the theft of a motorcycle was instrumental in the bikes recovery a few hours later.

The Beat team want to extend their thanks to the neighbourhood link member who saw the post and subsequently spotted the motorcycle concealed in a hedge a short distance away from the crime scene.

We have just restored the bike to its owner who also sends his thanks to the eagle eyed local resident.
