Crime Report Hucknall for the week to midnight Wednesday 24 April 2024


Officers from the Hucknall Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates.

Monday 29/04/2024 – HIGH STREET (officers will be visible) – 10:00 -11:00

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling

Between Thursday 18 and Sunday 21 April in Carlingford Road, Hucknall, a handbag containing money was stolen. There was no sign of a break-in.

At some time in the week before Friday 19 April in Lime Tree Road, Hucknall, the back door and a shed roof was damaged in an attempt to break into a property.

Theft of motor vehicle

Between midnight and 1.26pm on Sunday 21 April in Linby Road, Hucknall, an attempt was made to steal a mobility scooter from the yard of a house. The scooter was driven into the gate, causing damage to the steering, and was abandoned.

At 0.57am on Sunday 21 April in Watnall Road, Hucknall, three males damaged a metal bunker at the Co-op Food Store to get access to the contents. They stole coal and logs.

Between 6.15pm on Friday 19 and 10.45am on Monday 22 April at the NET Tram stop, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a black and orange Carrera Fury Mountain bike, with black mudguard and lights, was stolen from the bike store.

Overnight Friday19 to Saturday 20 April in Tyne Gardens, Hucknall, a hole was drilled into a white Ford Custom van.

At 1.00am on Tuesday 23 April in Elm Avenue, Hucknall, the glass in a front door window was cracked.

At 8.20pm on Tuesday 23 April in Aerial Way, Hucknall, Perimeter and CCTV signage around the Hucknall Town Football Club ground was torn down stamped on and broken by five males. They were described as around 15 years old, wearing dark clothing with hoodies, one in a balaclava. One was on a bike, a second on a scooter, the other three were picked up by a silver/grey car

Around 10.56pm on Tuesday 23 April in Kenbrook Road, Hucknall, a brick was thrown through a front window smashing the glass.

At 3.25pm on Sunday 21 April at McDonald’s Restaurant, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a report of around 50, 13/30 year olds, on Dirt bikes, e-scooters, scooters and pushbikes, riding around the car park and access road area, blocking them to customers.

At 6.19pm on Sunday 21 April in Loxley Close, Hucknall, seven 12 year old, mainly males, pressing all the entry buttons for the flats, and in the communal hallway messing around with the electric box for the entry phones. No damage has been reported.

At 7.53pm on Sunday 21 April in Field Avenue, Christchurch Road, Hucknall, a report of the latest incident of people kicking house doors on the avenue. This is a recurring problem in the area.
