We continue to see reports of overnight break-ins to building sites and renovated homes to target power tools and other building equipment. Unfortunately, thefts of this nature will often not be covered on an insurance policy. We encourage tradesmen to be vigilant in ensuring their tools are secured overnight and not left unattended within building sites, as well as being aware of any suspicious persons or other activity.
