Man arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods in Letchworth


Dear Resident

 

A man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, possession of a bladed article, possession of criminal property and going equipped for theft in Letchworth on Thursday (18 April).

The man, and his vehicle, were searched by North Herts Neighbourhood Policing Team and Scorpion officers in Cotton Brown Park. Officers discovered a large quantity of cosmetics, medication and a knife.

The man, aged in his 40s, has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue. His vehicle was seized.
