Visit by Officers to Guides at Shelton Lock

Last night the team along with PC Pibworth from the East Response Team were invited to visit the Guides at Shelton Lock to speak to them about their safety and our role.

We discussed how to keep safe whilst out and about in the community and whilst at home.

We also had a discussion around internet safety and the guides asked lots of interesting questions.

PC Pibworth explained the difference between a PCSO (Police Community Support Officer) and a Police Officer. She explained the different roles and uniform. She also gave a demonstration of the equipment she carries.

Hopefully this will be the one and only time any of them will be put in handcuffs!
