Dear Residents,

As part of my patrol, I had the privilege to hold this one day old lamb. 

As beautiful as it was, there was a serious side to my visit. The farm area that I cover has had numerous incidents of dogs worrying their livestock in the field as there is a right of way through their land. Please keep your dogs on a short lead where there are farm animals present. Stress on the livestock can cause them extreme anxiety and in certain cases death. 

If you allow your dog to worry livestock, we will prosecute.
