In response to numerous complaints by the general public Lichfield's proactive neighbourhood team shift 3 have seized an E-scooter this afternoon which was being driven illegally through Netherstowe close to Tesco Express. Upon officer's arrival the rider dumped the E-Scooter and fled the scene which meant we were then able to seize the E-scooter. Whilst we are always patrolling (often in plain vehicles behind the scenes) we are never able to be everywhere at once so we really do rely on you to keep us informed of anti social and illegal behaviour in our city. It's thanks to your intelligence that we were able to remove today's E-scooter from our roads.
