Hello Sophie and Welmore Road, Glinton, Neighbourhood Watch members, I thought I would catch up with all 12 of you, I know my deputy Alan Friend called to see you a while back and helped to get things rolling for neighbourhood watch in your street/area. Please accept a warm welcome to Peterborough Neighbourhood Watch Association. You are automatically a member of the Peterborough Neighbourhood Watch Association. We lead on all aspects of the Watch scheme for the Peterborough area. We supply you with - members guide leaflets ( one per household)street promotion leafletswindow stickers ( one per household)postersstreet signs - we sell them at £13 each. The signs are the only ones permitted for the Council area. Please contact me in the first place. Sometimes the local ward councilor may use their CLF funding and purchase these for you.If required connect you with nearby registered schemes.Set up a ' Buddy Scheme ' for youHelp and advise with issues or problems causing concerns in the area of your watch scheme. One of our experienced coordinators will call and see you.You are invited to join us each 6 weeks at the Peterborough Coordinators Meetings where we are joined by the neighbourhood police. Alongside these meetings the Peterborough NW Action Group for the Association will meet and help and support our members in many different waysPlease try and get more neighbours involved, the more the merrier. The objectives include increasing and improving neighborliness.We will supply you with the name of your local police officer and their e mail address, this is for coordinators only.Should you intend to run a local event we provide you with free PL insurance. We supply the coordinator with a photo ID badge, should you be interestedPlease supply me with a recent passport style photograph of yourself. Note these are ordered in batches, and we need to await the sufficient no. of interested coordinators.
