Male Arrested and Remanded for Drug Supply in Langley Mill

A male has been remanded into prison after a positive stop search in Langley Mill yesterday

Nathan Cope of No Fixed Address was arrested on 16th April after Officers from the Heanor & Langley Mill and Belper Safer Neighbourhood Team were completing pro-active patrols on Amber Drive, Langley Mill following information from the public about suspicious activity taking place in the area.

The male was searched and found to be in possession of a large amount of Class A drugs and a quantity of cash.

A female was also arrested and searched and found to be in possession of Class A drugs. The female has been released on bail.

This kind of behaviour has a huge impact on the local neighbourhood and with our quick response on the information received, this helps to make communities feel safer.
