Southampton woman charged with string of shopliftings


A Southampton woman has been charged with a number of shoplifting offences as part of our crackdown on outstanding suspects across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

 

 

Zoe Ann Taylor, 38, of Worcester Place, was arrested yesterday (Tuesday 16 April) and subsequently charged with five counts of theft in connection with the following incidents:

 

  • On March 31 £40 worth of confectionary was taken from the Co-op on Bridge Road.

  • On April 5 £12 worth of air freshener was taken from the Weston Lane Co-op store.

  • On April 5 air fresheners and confectionary to the value of £22 was taken from the Co-op on Portswood Road.

  • On April 6 confectionary worth £34.40 was taken from the Co-op on Bridge Road.

  • On April 11 air fresheners to the value of £46.50 were taken from the Johns Road Co-op.

  •  

    Taylor has been remanded into custody and will appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 17 April).
