Hyndburn Taskforce

Yesterday afternoon, we seized a grey Volkswagen Golf on Limefield Street in Peel and Barnfield after identifying the driver did not have insurance to drive the vehicle.   The Golf was seized accordingly and the driver reported for summons.   As a result of information provided by members of the public, the vehicle was searched under the misuse of drugs act however no items were found on this occasion.

Later the same day, a takeaway driver who has an expired licence was stopped driving a black Toyota Yaris on Nuttall Street, Accrington.   The driver was also removed from the vehicle and reported for summons.
