Church Fenton train station


Following on from the Police Surgery at Church Fenton on the 11th April 2024, concerns were raised regarding criminal damage to vehicles parked on Common Lane, Church Fenton near to the train station. 

If you see anything suspicious within the area or anyone causing criminal damage to vehicles, please contact police on 999 if this is an emergency or 101 non-emergencies. If you receive any damage to your vehicle, you can report this on 101 or on North Yorkshire Police’s website. 

 

Please can commuters remember to be considerate whilst parking at the train station, especially if the can park is full and commuters are having to park on the roadside. If a vehicle is causing an obstruction, please report at the current time of this ongoing incident to 101. 

 

  • Don’t Park within ten metres or opposite of a junction.
  • Park in the direction of the flowing traffic, to allow road users to see the reflective lights on vehicles in darkness.  
  • Don’t block a road or pavements which causes an obstruction to members of the public using the access to the pavement or road.
