Dear Resident

We are investigating a burglary at a flat on Edward Drive, it has occurred around 10:10am 27/3/24.

A male described as a white male, approx. 6ft, wearing a cap, dark facial hair, jacket, ¾ shorts and boots. Having been granted access via a communal door he has gained entry to the flat by the unlocked door and when challenged by the occupant has made an excuse regarding his presence and left. 

Do you have CCTV / Ring doorbell etc?  If so could you check and see if there is a male matching this description at the relevant time, if so please let me know by reply and I can email a link for the footage to be uploaded.
