BURGLARY

There has only been one burglary this week.  This occurred on Hollyfast Road. The offenders have picked a lock on the back door to gain entry and once inside, have stolen items. The house is currently empty.

VEHICLE CRIME

There have been five attempts to steal from vehicles. On each occasion, offenders have got into to vehicle but have not stolen anything.

Two vehicles were stolen from Packington Ave and Bennetts Road South. On both occasions, the vehicles were locked and secure.

If you have keyless entry cars, please put your keys in a faraday pouch. This blocks the signal so no one can pick it up.

IN OTHER NEWS

This week we have managed to recover FIVE stolen motorbikes. One was found in the woods in Keresley and had to be dragged out by four people!!

We also came across a cannabis factory. The team pulled together and dismantled it. Over three hundred plants found in the property. Plants will be destroyed.

Officers on patrol came across three males in a vehicle with drugs. Search made of their car and more drugs found. All arrested.

Also this week we have managed to arrest a prolific shoplifter who had been targeting a shop for the past few months.  Pleaded guilty to 19 charges!! He will be suitably dealt with by the courts.
